Controller vibrates then quits after a few seconds

hii, putting this here cause i cant find anything else that helps. when connecting my controller (ps4 controller, using ds4windows so it recognizes it as an xbox controller) and playing around with the vibration settings in intiface, it vibrates for a few seconds and then stops. i cant figure out how to fix this and i looked at every setting i think? very very frustrating lol

I’m facing the exact issue too. Good to know it isn’t an issue specific to me. I’m still trying to figure out the cause. Possible controller limitation?

I have the same problem here. Anyone with a solution?

Hey! Hope I’m not that late.

DS4Windows’s newer versions have an automatic rumble stop because lots of people were experiencing infinite rumble, that’s why it only lasts 5 seconds~

If you want to get rid of this issue, just use DS4 3.1.2 and you’ll be fine, but might experience some kind of bugs (never happened to me tho).

Note: If you use DS4Windows’ “Test Heavy” or “Test Light” it might still stop after 5 seconds, so just test it by turning the vibration on Intiface instead

Edit: When you setup your gamepad, make sure to click on “Edit” > Other > Rumble then check if it’s set up to 100 % 0 sec, then save and apply.
If it still doesn’t fix your problem, try checking the “Disable Virtual Controller” and if the problem persists, use HidHide to hide your gamepad and let only the DS4Windows’s gamepad.
