I’m looking for a way to set patterns without using the official lovense app, I just want a Domi to have 10 constant levels available via the hardware buttons basically.
I was looking at the docs but can only find info about reading the patterns ( Lovense | buttplug.io )
So I assume it’s currently not possible?
Buttplug doesn’t implement any of the pattern control features available on some of the Lovense devices.
Is there any reason why? Or us it just not possible to implement?
Custom patterns are a very rare feature in the scope of hardware supported, and right now, Buttplug doesn’t support triggering patterns at all which would be far more common.
It does support running the patterns tho, according to the docs Lovense | buttplug.io
My question is more if setting patterns is not implemented because it has not been done yet or if it somehow is prohibited by lovense
You’re reading the protocol notes, not what Buttplug supports. We know how to trigger patterns, but it’s not implemented.
I think we might even know how to set patterns, but the notes haven’t been updated to include that.
It’s unlikely that Buttplug will support setting patterns any time soon. It’s a lot of effort for less than 1% of devices.
