I have a feeling these kinds of posts are common, but I couldn’t find anything for this specific brand.
I bought a toy off the list (y’know, the ones that show which ones are compatible with buttplug.io?) and it arrived earlier today. Once it was charged, I attempt to connect it to my PC, hoping to play some Ultrakill.
The toy showed up in the Bluetooth list. Wouldn’t connect. Okay, maybe it’s my computer, might as well try it on my phone.
Shows up on my phone’s Bluetooth list. Doesn’t connect there either.
HOWEVER! It works just fine with the mobile app.
I literally dropped fifty bucks on this thing for Ultrakill please help me out.
Wildolo seems to be a rather niche brand, and frankly, a little sketchy.
This is more of a BLE thing: you don’t connect to the device in the OS settings; the app connects to the device.
If Intiface isn’t finding the device, when you haven’t already connected it to something else (including the OS settings), we’ll need more information before we’ll know which direction to go in.
I am having the EXACT same problem with my Joyhub Rainbow, when I try to connect to my pc it says “please connect again”
Do NOT try to connect to toys from the OS Bluetooth settings: BLE devices connect on a per-application basis, so even if you do get the OS to connect, that will block Intiface from connecting.
There are a few exceptions where toys need pairing, but that’s not the case of either JoyHub or Wildolo
Wow, I’m so late on responding. So sorry! It doesn’t show up when I scan, but my X Box controller shows up just fine so the problem isn’t the app itself. I’m genuinely lost. I’ve tried reinstalling the app. It just cannot find it. What all do you need to know?
So, that sounds like your Bluetooth setup is having issues (Xbox controllers use a very different connection mechanism).
This could be that you don’t have a BT4 capable radio or the drivers are wrong or there’s so much interference that it can’t reach the device.
The easiest option right now is to run Intiface on your phone.
